In 2020, he finally gained complete control of the global Carnival holiday season, thus granting him greater powers! The Leader of any holiday is defined as the one who directly channels and controls its metaphysical Spirit. He considered changing his name to the Carnival Joker but Mardi Gras is the culmination of Carnival, so he feels the name is still fitting for his supernatural stature. Also, some thought it sounded too much like a clown or sideshow freak at a traveling carnival. The Joker actually has PR people well-versed in the perplexing paranormal planet.

The Twisting Of The Sainted Shrovetide
The sinister stewardship of the psychopathic Joker is separate from the religious celebration of Shrove Tuesday and Shrovetide in general. In essence, Carnival is the anti-Shrovetide. In reality, Santa Claus is in charge of the Shrovetide Season. Just as the MG Joker was successful in ripping a piece of the season off for the dark forces, so too does the Anti-Claus continue his attempt to create a Dark Christmas. Thus far, it hasn’t been anywhere near the success of Mardi Gras with its alluring adult party-time atmosphere. The holiday lures in the disenfranchised and people who just want to feel like they’re a part of something cool. The Joker assures everyone that Carnival is just harmless fun. Supposedly, what happens on Mardi Gras stays on Mardi Gras. Each person whose morals are corrupted adds to the power of the sinister spirit that energizes his evil soul!
Becoming The Paranormal Ruler Of A Holiday
The Mardi Gras Joker taps into the metaphysical energies of chaotic debauchery resulting from excessive partying. The release of moral values seen in various Carnival celebrations in New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, and other places around the world are the main fuel for his frightening flames of terror. Although his central base of nefarious operations is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Gaining leadership of a holiday requires a great deal of power and magic to take over the Spirit of any given season. Generally, an unconscious spirit that manifests courtesy of the human collective consciousness. The most famous of these Spirits is The Spirit Of Christmas. Mardi Gras has always had someone less than stellar at the supernatural helm due to its very carnal nature. It’s no surprise that an insane Voodoo magic criminal mastermind like the Joker was able to gain power over the dark spirit of the season.
Alarming Appearance Of The Carnival Joker
The MG Joker uses Voodoo Glamour magic to alter his appearance on occasion. However, he is a tall, lanky man in his mid-50s. He appears younger due to rejuvenative magic and all the white clown makeup he wears. The unjolly Joker usually dresses in his signature black and white jester’s garb. However, he will sometimes wear normal clothing to blend into non-costume party types of crowds. He also has a more elaborate ceremonial robe for his ritual blood sacrifices to his various Voodoo Spirits. The Joker often wears a glowing purple pendant and holds various illuminated scepters for the purpose of focusing the maximum dark magic. Thankfully, he has such a huge ego that he will stroll about in full costume looking like a complete loon! It makes it easier for us in the supernatural community to hunt him down! Even his cult members dress like silly fools as well.
The New Ability To Transform Into A Hideous Monster Form?
Starting around Thanksgiving 2024, the monstrous jester pictured above started sparsely appearing as a new commanding figure in the Joker’s cult. Only in February of 2025 did paranormal investigators realize it was the Joker himself! The Spirit Of Carnival and his malevolent magic have become so strong that he can now temporarily transform himself into a more paranormally powerful form. A chilling creature beyond his human form! It’s said he’s exponentially more dangerous when appearing like this. Luckily, it drains his power greatly if he holds the transformation too long.
The Origin Of The Mardi Gras Joker
The Mardi Gras Joker’s real name is Frank Farcus, but he’s long since abandoned that identity. In fact, he’s been known to murder anyone uttering that name! We like to use it just to taunt him! Sometimes, many of us at Mystic Investigations just call him Farcus. Frank began as a low-level criminal who utilized theft and intimidation to create wealth. All the while enjoying the torment of innocent people. There’s evidence he had abusive parents and underwent therapy for a speech impediment that caused him to be bullied as a child. Farcus also may have wet his bed until the age of 17 when he offed his parents in a rage!
The Joker Farcus And His Chilling Childhood
Throughout his childhood, Farcus was beaten and humiliated by his parents. His mother routinely hung his pee-stained sheets in front of the house with a sign saying her embarrassment of a son had urinated in his bed. They dressed him up in a jester’s costume and clown cosmetics to humiliate him in front of house guests. He was forced to literally act as a joke of a jester. His parents would send him outside in full fool fashion to do yard work. It provided even more fuel for the neighborhood kids to harass him. The day he murdered his parents in cold blood, the killer Joker made the costume his own, and he’s worn it ever since!
Why Were Frank Farcus’s Parents So Abusive?
Apparently, his parents hated him for ruining their life of partying. They were heavy into alcohol and drug use. Frank was left alone for long periods of time. When his parents got home, they were deeply distressed that they had to go back to being parents who needed to earn more money to support their unfortunate child. Naturally, they punished him for it! The Joker was a rare Cryptic Birth. His Mother had no idea she was even pregnant until she went to the hospital due to abdominal pains. If his Mom knew she was with child, then an abortion would have happened for sure! In many ways, you should feel sorry for the MG Joker, but he delved way too deep into the forces of darkness. There’s no going back for him!
High School Bully Revenge
After the mad murders, Farcus actually hid the bodies and finished high school as if nothing ever happened. Since his parents were notoriously irresponsible and rude, nobody seemed to notice they were missing. Generally, these filthy fiends drop out and head into the world as self-emancipated serial killers. During his senior year, his classmates noticed a remarkable change as he started beating the ever-loving hell out of his bullies! They were no match for him! Sheer rage fueled him even before he tapped into Voodoo magic! Naturally, there were detensions, suspensions, and expulsions. However, Frank became quite good at playing the victim to appease school officials to let him back in. He even committed his first blackmailing schemes with crafty investigations.
He utilized this for the Principal, teachers, and students he could find dirt on. If you couldn’t find anything, then he’d manufacture it. Senior year was his training ground of trial and error for future criminal enterprises. As the school year progressed, most people knew to steer clear of the frightening Farcus! Near the end, he totally sabotaged the Senior prom with a variety of horrifying pranks complete with pigs blood dumped on the Prom King and Queen “Carrie” style. Many students and some teachers were injured to varying degrees. One student died!
His most prolific bully had been the Captain of the football team, but he laid off Frank months earlier. Still, he met his maker in what looked like a freak electrical accident. The prom was canceled early amid mayhem and the crazy cackling of Farcus blowing over the PA system in a disguised manner. Some suspected him, but there was no proof! In the closing weeks of the school year, 11 students and 2 teachers either vanished without a trace or were found dead under mysterious circumstances. On stage at the high school graduation he grabbed the mic from the Vice-Principal and screamed “F*** all of you straight to hell!” He laughed like a loon and ran away with his middle finger raised high. Frank quietly sold the family home and collected some modest extortion money from a Janitor who he caught red-handed peeping in the girl’s shower. This seed money sent him out into the world to wreak havoc that continues to this day!
The Discovery Of Vexing Voodoo!
After he graduated from High School with a C average, he worked at various fast food jobs by day. During his nights, he started committing petty crimes that escalated to violent attacks. At some point, he discovered Voodoo magic and found he had a deep interest in it. He realized his natural talent for dark Voodoo and began training under a Voodoo Master named Trailfeze. His powers grew, and so did his criminal enterprise, which began to employ its own thugs. They often use Voodoo, especially Voodoo doll curses, to destroy people and extort money from wealthy individuals. Eventually, the Joker took out his magical Master in a diabolical ritual to greatly increase his paranormal powers. Normally, such an act would Curse the killer, but the MG Joker exponentially surpassed his Master Trailfeze in the dark arts! This continues to include ritual sacrifices to various dark Voodoo spirits known as Loa. Sometimes they are innocent or completely corrupted individuals who outwore their usefulness!
The Paranormal Powers & Weaknesses Of The MG Joker
Being a dark master of Voodoo magic grants the Mardi Gras Joker immense paranormal power. On top of that, he taps directly into The Spirit Of Mardi Gras and Carnival, thereby adding its metaphysical energy to his body. This not only increases his magical abilities but also grants him enhanced superhuman strength, speed, agility, and senses. He also has a slight psychic ability to sense danger afoot. When channeling malevolent magic and The Spirit, his disturbingly hypnotic eyes will glow dark purple. He is quite skilled at cursing people with Voodoo Dolls and also turning them into mindless zombies. The Joker also has an affinity for raising real Zombies from graves! Amid his horrifying hijinks, he enjoys letting loose his crazy cackling that’s like fingernails on a chalkboard!
An Unknown Voodoo Artifact Could Be The Weak Link?
His weaknesses may include those employing an even greater Voodoo against him or the use of other forms of magic. He is considered virtually the top Voodoo practitioner on Earth, so it would probably take a group of talented magic masters to take him down! As the leader of a holiday, he needs a magical artifact of some type to channel the holiday spirit into his body. This is often a crystal such as Santa Claus’s infamous Christmas Crystal. The MG Jokers artifact is an unknown ancient Voodoo object once in the possession of The Voodoo Queen Of New Orleans, Marie Catherine Laveau. If this artifact could be magically dampened or destroyed, then the Joker could be sufficiently weakened enough to be taken down with extreme prejudice! It’s also thought that summoning the spirit of the Voodoo Queen could cause him trouble. That being said, holy artifacts related to the original Shrove Tuesday holiday repel him to some extent. However, since he does not call upon demons for power, they are mostly not very effective.
The Party Apocalypse And Allies In Darkness
Once his supernatural status had sufficiently increased, he set his sights on metaphysically taking over Mardi Gras. 
One of his most recent associates is the Plague Doctor, who often employs new genetically engineered STD’s during Mardi Gras festivities. The Joker has also been rumored to have terrifying ties with an even more famous jester known as The April Anti-Fool. There are also recent associations with various Clown Cults. The Mardi Gras Jokers Home Base Of Alarming Operations
The MG Joker has a Lair in the sewers of New Orleans where he enjoys dining on King Cake. This guy really lives like a King among men!💩 It is there he hatches his nefarious plots with his top lieutenants. More often during Carnival and various partying events. He also has a backwoods bayou hideout which acts as a vacation home of sorts. It is there that the vast majority of his Cult lives in the lovely mosquito infested swamp. Do not attempt to look for these locations as they are dangerous even without the Joker and the presence of his crazy cult!
A Love Interest For The Unjolly Joker? 
The MG Joker has been recently seen with this unknown woman who appears to have extremely dark violet eyes. She is possibly deep into the dark magics or even demon-possessed! Although the Joker spends time with his Cult, it’s mostly to give marching orders. He’s generally been a loner, with a few exceptions when it came to the hotter chicks in his Cult. UPDATE 2021: The Mardi Gras Joker is livid about the cancelation of Mardi Gras and other Carnival celebrations around the world due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Joker has cut ties with the Plague Doctor in disgust as he initiated the pandemic to begin with. Saint Nicholas is happy about this development as Shrove Tuesday pushes forth the greater Spirit Of Christmas amid the weakening of the dark Mardi Gras Spirit.
