The Blue Lady Nightmare has been reported by a number of kids across the world. It involves a scary woman dressed in blue garb wearing something resembling a Hijab. She seems to target sleeping kids as she invades dreams already in progress thereby transforming it into a nightmare! When she appears the background of the new nightmare turns Midnight blue. Her blue blazing eyes freezes them into a horrifying hypnosis as her long blue fingernails grow forth to cut their foreheads. There is no pain but the experience is unsettling as the child often wakes up screaming. The Blue Lady says nothing as she performs this horrifying act. However, she does display a sinister smile. Supernatural evidence indicates that children having the dream 13 times over a lifetime end up vanishing without a trace!
The Recent Connection To Freddy Krueger
The highest concentration of these nightmares resides in the Middle East, Northern Africa, and areas around the Mediterranean Sea. The most nightmares happen around Halloween while the least are on Christmas. Most likely due to the child protective qualities of the Spirit Of Christmas. The nightmares were first reported in 1944 and steadily increased over the decades. They reached their peak in the 1980’s and greatly declined until 2010. Since then they have begun slowly increasing again. We now know this is thanks to the infamous Freddy Krueger who is aiding this filthy fiend!
Indeed Freddy is a very real master of dream invasion and nightmare creation! After a defeat at the hands of paranormal professionals, including practitioners of magic, sometime in the late 1990’s, the Nightmare Master began sparsely returning to the dreamscape in 2010. Some blame a renewed belief in him via the newest “A Nightmare On Elm Street” movie. Something that will be explored in a future article. Krueger is known for causing physical harm from the dream realm which might explain why the Blue Lady’s nightmares have recently begun showing evidence of minor scarring. She is learning from her malevolent master!
The Origins Of The Blue Lady
It wasn’t until recently that paranormal investigators finally pieced together the clues that solved The Blue Lady Nightmare Phenomenon. It seems a secret division of the German Nazi government sought supernatural treasures during World War II. German soldiers and archaeologists stealthily entered Iraq to unearth the tomb of a Babylonian Princess named Beletsunu. Her father was King Neriglissar. She lived some 2500 years ago and deeply worshiped the patron deity of Babylon known as Marduk. Her personal court magicians worked to channel Marduk’s power in order to grant her the immortality she greatly craved. She was a vain and cruel individual that wanted to say young and beautiful forever at anyone’s expense! For reasons unknown she was obsessed with the color blue.
Ultimately she was kidnapped by Persians who utilized her as a slave and forced her into several marriages. Some years later she brutally killed all her husbands as a sacrifice to Marduk before launching herself off a cliff to her death on what would later be known as Halloween! As she fell she screamed forth a curse upon the children descended from her captures and anyone else who did not bow down before her throughout her lifetime! There was also some resentment over being barren and having to endure the resulting punishment from her husbands! The curse itself was a fail-safe in case things went south as she wanted people to pay for her failure. Little did she know that the curse would actually be her own disembodied spirit invading the dreams of innocent children!
The Birth Of The Beletsunu Curse & The Intent Of Corpse Reanimation
Although she was in danger from an entire army after killing her husbands, the intent of her suicide was to offer herself up as the ultimate sacrifice. In turn, Marduk would use the sacrifice of her husbands to resurrect her and grant the Princess an eternal existence of beauty on Earth. Unfortunately for her, the sacrifices didn’t contain enough metaphysical mojo to give her immortal resurrection. It did, however, keep her soul linked with her body rather than the natural movement into the afterlife.
Her loyal followers and court magicians, who later formed a Princess Beletsunu Cult, buried her in a special tomb designed to imbue her with magics via Marduk for 10,000 years. This would be fueled by the continuous ritual sacrifices of children! The long length of time was foreseen by court seers who knew there could only be so many ideal sacrifices within a certain length of time coupled with the fact that the cult would eventually die. There was also the fact that Marduk, like other ancient Gods, would lose power as the populace stopped believing and worshiping him over the centuries.
The theory was that after 10,000 years the Princess should have absorbed enough metaphysical energy to physically resurrect as a true immortal. Unlike Egyptian mummies, she wouldn’t have to eat people to restore her corpse and stay forever young. Unfortunately, the Nazi archaeologist’s disturbed that perplexing paranormal process in 1944. They found her perfectly preserved body that looked like she had only died yesterday! Upon removal from the magical tomb, her body rapidly decayed once exposed to outside air. Within minutes she was nothing but dust in the wind. Dust that ended up blowing about wildly choking everyone in the Nazi expedition to death!
The Transformation From Babylonian Princess To Dark Dream Spirit
All the metaphysical energy collected for thousands of years was shot to the four winds upon her body being destroyed. This caused Princess Beletsunu’s dormant spirit to be released. She was only able to catch a fraction of the enchanted energy before it was gone. Just enough to destroy the Nazis! She didn’t move on to the afterlife as she was now a lost soul after so many centuries. Beletsunu wasn’t even technically a ghost as that ethereal train rode far away thousands of years ago. She was about to vaporize into nothingness when her curse kicked in. The curse had been brewing since she first created it upon her death and now its dark energy absorbed into her metaphysical form. She became the dark spirit of the Blue Lady.
Her very own curse guided her into the dreams of children who descended from her captures and anyone who had given her a sideways look! She rode the dream plane with malicious glee perpetually entering kids dreams. There she would relish in tormenting them and metaphysically marking their foreheads to leave behind a blasphemous beacon to remind her of how many times she visited the child. As a dark spirit, she could only feed off of so much of the fear stoked in her nefarious nightmares. Only enough to keep her existence intact. She was also limited in dream visitations for any given child due to their magical innocence acting like a poison on evil entities such as herself. There are also some Guardian Angels that are impossible to sneak past and they don’t allow the invasion or a certain number as it is not the destiny of the child.
The Hope Of Dark Resurrection
She is able to reach the ideal 13 visitations in certain mentally vulnerable children with less than ideal lives. The number 13 is needed at the Witching Hour on the day she died, Halloween, to offer up as a sacrifice to the dark God Marduk. He started regaining some power in the 19th century when various cults and secret elite societies began worshiping him again! The 13 metaphysical markings by The Blue Lady actually taint the soul and cause energy leakage for Marduk to siphon off. The process is so complete that the child simply vanishes into thin air! The very energy foundation of the body is sucked dry thereby taking apart the matter! Much like Beletsunu becoming dust when her body was exposed to air. Although, no dust is left behind!
The end game is to build up enough mojo to directly translate the Blue Lady’s body into a rare metaphysical matter form so she can live on Earth as an ultra-powerful super dark immortal! Her attempt to possess and hijack human bodies has failed miserably. Nobody has yet to be suitable for her sinister spirit. It’s simply too dark and ancient! Ironically in quite a few attempts demons have stopped her as they don’t like outsiders trespassing on their domain. So she is forced to do things the hard way and go for a rare spirit to physical resurrection. Seriously a difficult feat in the paranormal world! Naturally, she is not a team player and has too much pride and ego to form alliances with anyone but Marduk as she worshiped him since her early childhood.
Defenses Against The Blue Lady And Her Nasty Nightmares
There are no known defenses against the Blue Lady other than not being an under 13 years of age descendant of someone who pissed her off! She isn’t demonic and her evil energies are beyond anciently unique so religious artifacts and symbols won’t work on her. Like any dream invader, one can only realize it is their mind and they have the ultimate command over the nightmare. Try to train your kids in lucid dreaming and give them a trigger to wake up when things get too scary. As always make sure your kids are happy in their once in a lifetime childhood. Halloween is the worst time for these Blue Lady nightmares so praying to the Queen Of Halloween Shala wouldn’t hurt! Let us all pray that the Blue Lady Beletsunu scourge along with her cohort Freddy Krueger will be permanently stamped out of existence someday! If you suspect your child is having Blue Lady Nightmares then contact your nearest paranormal professionals, practitioners of magic, or a Oneirokinesis master of dream manipulation to confront the bitch! LOL!
Those with Oneiric Immunity can repel and even seriously fight dream invaders and nightmare creators. Freddy Krueger and The Blue Lady tend to avoid these gifted individuals even in child form. Interestingly enough both have made the mistake of invading the dreams of kids held captive by the notorious Slenderman. He immediately detects the invasion and sends forth a metaphysical variety of his infamous Slender Sickness. They never come back for seconds after that!
