Monstrous Horror Legends

All horror movie and literary heroes, villains, and monsters exist somewhere in this reality to some extent, or in a Parallel Universe.  It is amazing how many supposedly fictional supernatural films, television shows, and books are in fact secretly based on true stories. Below are some of the horror icons we’ve written about.

That’s very interesting to know. If you say that all horror film monsters exist somewhere in this reality to some extent, or in a parallel Universe, then maybe you know something about other famous figures, too? For example, Freddy Krueger, Alien (Xenomorph) and Predator?

Yes, I have heard about that story, about people having terrible nightmares and dying in their sleep, somewhere in South East Asia (Cambodia, I think). That was the inspiration for the films about Freddy Krueger.
I definitely will be looking forward for articles about those creatures. By the way, I have seen an article about a sighting of a creature that looked very similar to the Predator. It was called “Possible Yautja sighting?”

It wasn’t clear what kind of creature it was, but in some way rather similar to Yautja.
Also, I’ve found out that Jeepers Creepers film is based on true events, except for the monster. The monster himself reminds me rather of the Mothman, but it’s something different for sure.

I’m sorry for disturbing you once again, but there’s another question in my mind. If monsters, demons, and other creatures from horror films exist somewhere in this reality to some extent, or in a parallel Universe, then what about such things like horror literature, for example, or even horror games? Might sound a bit silly, but anyway… I just want to clear things up.

I see. Thank you very much for the explanation. I’ll read that article for sure.
