Werewolves can transform from their human form into that of a hairy horror without a Full Moon under certain circumstances. These non-lunar transformations can catch innocent victims, various paranormal professionals, and even Werewolf Hunters by surprise. Due to older werewolves developing some level of resistance to the Moon we see transformation when the Moon is between 100%-80% of Full. So several nights bring us the dangers of these blasphemous beasts!  Keep in mind it isn’t the lunar light itself that does the deed but rather the enchanted energy of the Moon interacting with the demonic DNA of those stricken with the Lycanthrope Virus.

The Will Power Werewolf

That being said, advanced werewolves who have trained their minds and bodies extensively can eventually control their transformations and even transform from their own sheer will power. When this happens they are almost always able to keep their human mind intact rather than reverting to a mindless monster hunting for meaty meals! The Moon plays a small role in the controlled transformation since the lunar forces are felt all around the world even during the day and within a New Moon. Although Werewolves find the Holy Sun painful and will avoid it all costs!

The Halloween Werewolf

The dark power of Halloween itself causes werewolves to transform without a Full Moon. The Witching Hour through Devil’s Hour is the most prolific time of Halloween horrors. Werewolves during this time may be compelled to do the bidding of a demon. Some younger werewolves may actually remain in wolf or a hybrid wolf-person form during the daylight hours of Halloween. The searing rays of the sun will compel them to hide away thus not really being a threat. During the evening of Trick Or Treating The Spirit Of Halloween exerts a frightful force in order to protect children from these dangers.

The Halloween Holiday

Halloween is a holiday of balance between good and evil. It gives us more malevolent monsters while its Spirit grants us more paranormal protection. If the Blood Moon Of Halloween is close to All Hallows Eve then the nights of transformation can be greatly extended well past the Full Moon zone. This all ends at the stroke of Midnight on Hallowmas All Saints Day(November 1st) as Angels descend from Heaven to clean up various metaphysical messes. Even if there’s a Full Moon in progress werewolves will de-transform. Then on the evening of that saintly day, they will only transform to harmless fluffy white puppy wolves as seen during the Yule Moon of Christmas. Unfortunately, All Souls Day Of The Dead(November 2nd) will bring forth some very ferocious werewolves out for human blood!

The Magical Werewolf Transformation

Powerful practitioners of magic including witches, wizards, and sorcerers can temporarily transform, and de-transform Werewolves through spells or their own natural magical powers. The de-transformations are often done by good witches while the wicked witches love to transform werewolves to use as a punishment or weapons against enemies. We also have the Gypsies and their ability to curse anyone into werewolves!
