What Is Borrowed, Loaned, Or Cadged Magic?
The official term for borrowed magic is Cadged Magic. It is possible for a non-supernatural human to borrow magic from someone who wisely wields metaphysical forces. Most of the time it’s given but a rare few industrious humans with the proper ancient knowledge have been known to steal magic, and other powers from various magical practitioners, and paranormal beings. The vast majority of the time the power is temporary, and not permanent. It generally takes a very powerful practitioner of magic, or moderately powerful coven or group of witches, warlocks, wizards, or sorcerers to lend mystical powers to an average human.
The Danger Of Borrowed Power
The human borrower must undergo a crash course in how to wield the magic. Then they will be metaphysically programmed before magical powers are loaded into their physical body with sub-conscious activation triggers. Triggers are usually activated by picturing certain images in their mind while feeling various emotions. Often advanced hypnosis is employed in this process. Various safeguards are put in place to ensure the human doesn’t let loose too much energy or even blow themselves up! The enchanted energies imbued within their body are like a ticking time bomb that must be defused in a proper manner!
Cadged Magic is usually something that can only occur regularly once in a great while for a non-supernatural human. The average physical body, psychological mind, and metaphysical soul suffer quickly from deterioration under paranormal circumstances. Sufficient time is needed to heal the mind, body, and spirit from borrowed magic once it wears off. It’s up to a skilled magical practitioner to determine how much magic a person can be loaded up with, and for how long it will last. Sometimes Mystical Healers must be employed to aid in the borrower’s recovery. This can include mental rehabilitation since the brain can be negatively affected. At some point, it may be declared that they are no longer fit to hold magic or to do so at their own peril. Often the elderly are rejected from holding Cadged Magic unless they already have a history with it.
The human borrower acts as a mystical battery charged with metaphysical energy. Eventually, the enchanted energy will gradually drain away into their astral soul and be assimilated without incident. The Human Soul has a great deal of power so it should have no issue with even a magical surge. It’s the physical aspect of this endeavor that is worrisome. In fact, the connection between body and soul often prevents the advanced art of borrowing energy from said soul. Extremely advanced magicians may program a human to take enchanted energy from their soul but death is a very likely risk! A soul could easily be drained of energy or surge into the body overloading it!
Once the magic is imbued it’s essential the person use it as quickly as possible due to the energy draining away not only into the soul but also the surrounding environment. You also have the risk of another magician or supernatural being absorbing the power and taking it for themselves. Haunted Houses ripe with ghosts, spirits, poltergeists, etc could see the power drain fast as these beings eat it up like sugar! In some cases magical power can be stored in objects, such as amulets, that won’t leak meta energy. Then the human can activate the power to drain into them when needed. Of course, there is a greater chance of theft or the item being damaged.
Superhuman Borrowers
Paranormal humans, Immortals, and other beings of a supernatural nature who don’t have natural magical power can hold on to, and withstand far more power than a regular human. Case in point are vampires who can literally steal temporary magic by drinking the blood of magical individuals. This is in lieu of their normal inability to practice magic. They can usually withstand any level of power without negative results. Psychic vampires may be able to steal magics as well by siphoning metaphysical energies. Hereditary witches are often given power early on to acquire more magics of their own quicker than if it was developed naturally. A powerful magical practitioner can spiritually bind themselves to an apprentice so they can quickly volley power to them during a supernatural battle. The apprentice may even be able to draw upon the magical Master’s power directly at will.
Super Humans with psychokinetic powers, and even merely enhanced physical abilities may be able to temporarily lend their powers to standard humans with a magical intermediary. In other words, a witch, or some other magical practitioner, translates the power into a supernatural spell and then

It’s prophesied that the final battles of Armageddon will see average humans being drafted into the war to decide the fate of Earth and humankind. It was written in ancient times that these humans would be weaponized with Cadged Magic. Magic lent from all sides to procure loyalty in their cause whether it be Angelic, Demonic, Earthly Gods, Jinn, and various other higher dimensional forces vying for control of the Universe! A Failure In Borrowed Magic
The woman above was loaded with dark magic by a wicked witch for a special fee. The magic wore off and drove the unfortunate woman insane. In the video above she believes she still has paranormal power while attempting to attack a police officer. If she succeeded in using magic on video you would not be seeing this now.
