The Right Hand Man or Woman is an unconditionally trustworthy loyal figure of integrity for a person in charge to put forth as their true heir and second in command. They can be counted on without question to carry out the wishes of their leader. Even upon the leader’s absence and death, they are trusted to carry on as they would. That being said, they must wade into the murky waters of dastardly deeds to protect their leader when faced with various threats. Often they direct The Left Hand Man to do what must be done to keep The Leader in power with an image of goodness. The Right Hand Man must take care in what he does behind the scenes as he’s in the public spotlight and must maintain his own honorable image. Although he acts as an insulator against The Left Hand Man. If necessary The Right Hand will sacrifice himself to save his loving Leader!😇
The Left Hand Man or Woman is a conditionally trustworthy loyal individual that remains in the shadows as they perform the necessary dirty work to maintain the leader’s power position. Even the most benevolent of Leaders must do reprehensible things to carry on in a world wrought with wickedness! Mostly, his underlings do what is needed to protect The Leader while insulating him from the sinister stuff. The Left Hand Man ranks below The Right Man who may give them orders as well. It’s their job to clean up messes and dispose of the trash that threatens the public integrity of the leader.🤝
Generally, their loyalty is bought with money and promises of power. However, they pose a threat with all the secrets they know about the Leader and The Right Hand Man. At some point, they could decide to become the Leader or trek out on their own by blackmailing their former rulers. When this event occurs The Right Hand Man must sully himself and dispose of The Left Hand Man by any means necessary. Job one is to protect The Leader and keep both his hands squeaky clean for his public persona. Then he must locate a new Left Hand Man. Sometimes an underling of The Original Left Hand Man.🧐
Often before any of this occurs a competent Leader and Right Hand Man utilize the Left Hand Man as the sacrificial lamb to the slaughter. Particularly in situations where The Leader’s position is threatened by outside forces. The Left Hand Man is exposed to the public as the scapegoat and framed as a person of pure evil. In extreme situations where no other choice is available The Right Hand Man will set himself up for slaughter to save his Leader from certain doom. Then The Left Hand Man may step up to serve as The Right Hand. However, the holding of dual roles ultimately leads to destruction even when a new Left Hand is chosen. A Left Hand Man never changes his character. He will always be evil in his own way. The ultimate example of this is The Devil himself!😈
