Supernaturally Sealed Rooms And Objects

Prolific practitioners of magic are able to supernaturally seal most objects, containers, and rooms via the casting of complicated magic spells. Anything from a locket to an entire house can be sealed to the point of barring anyone from entry. Often larger things, like a room, require a mystical sigil to be painted on a door or wall. This is the tell tale sign that a spell has been cast. The result of said spell is an invisible metaphysical energy barrier that repels the equivalent energy within any living beings body thereby physically keeping it from entering. Selective entry, and exit options can be worked out thereby requiring more complicated spells. The most powerful of these magical spells is the Global Vampire Spell that prevents vampires from entering private residences unless invited in by a human residing in the home.

Once the Sealing Spell has been cast there is no way to open said item, or room without the original spell caster reversing it, another magical practitioner breaking the seal with enough power, or in some cases a supernatural being. One so strong that it shatters the seal shield through sheer force of will! In addition beings who are immune to magic, including the Sasquatch, may generally open any sealed things. Those who somehow circumvent the seal without breaking it may find themselves in dire straits. Such as someone with teleportation powers, or time travel abilities who may gain entry to a sealed space not meant for anyone to dwell within. Once inside the enchanted energy pressure would make them physically sick, and cause hellish hallucinations! Plausibly there could be eventual death! In some cases sealed objects, and spaces may have an astral alarm to warn the spells casters. There could even be curses attached as a punishment for breaking another magician’s spell!

The Human World Discovering Magically Sealed Places
A major issue with a witch, warlock, wizard, or sorcerer sealing items is the paranormal phenomenon factor witnessed in the mainstream human world. Small objects, like a locket, can be explained away as being old, and faulty. Still the mystery would be major for an object that is in essence seemingly indestructable! Clearly there would be issues with apartments, homes, and storage lockers being left sealed without a magical practitioner monitoring it. Especially if it was set for demolition, and neither dynamite nor wrecking ball can destroy the place! This is addressed in the Supernatural Secrecy Pact that protects the world from learning about the fantastical, yet often horrifying world of the paranormal.

In a number of cases specialists in supernatural objects get hold of the items as their job is to scour the world for them. Quite a few may end up in the hands of secret government organizations such as the US Paranormal Defense Agency. In the case of structures there is a rule that allows human brute force entry if the place is abandoned, and the spell isn’t renewed every so often. If blatant exposure to the human world is about to take place there will be Angelic intervention from Heaven. Clearly a building that defies destruction would make world news! However word usually gets out to the right people in the supernatural community who swoop in to reverse the magical seal, and deal with any dangers, or mystical secrets that lurk within! Thus far no major exposures of enchantment have taken place.
