What Is The Unholy Blood Sun?

Only the holy rays of the Sun keep our days free of monstrous metaphysical mayhem!  It’s said the holy Sunlight will go dark during the final Battle Of Armageddon.  However before, or after that, as the forces of darkness vie for control of Earth & the Solar System, there may be a period where the Sun’s light turns unholy, and it becomes the fabled Blood Sun!  A Sun said to only exist once in prehistoric times when demonic Dinosauroid people walked the Earth millions of years ago.  Turning the ultimate source of our holy light into that of the very fiery unholy flames of Hell is no easy task!  It would take an unprecedented united front among all the factions of evil including Demons, Dark Gods, Jinn, and dark practitioners of magic.

In order to accomplish this these denizens of darkness would first have to establish a Blood Moon which is certainly something that already happens at least once a year in October.  Extra-Dimensional energies would be channeled through the other planets of our Solar System, along with bloody lunar energies, into the Earth.  Goddess Gaia Mother Earth would have to be corrupted or subdued as the Earth acts as a dark crystal to shoot supernatural forces at the Sun to transform it into a Blood Sun.  Even if all else goes well for the forces of evil their attempt could fail if they don’t have at least one Sun God in their pocket.  Several lay claim to the Sun, and this could set off a war among them as well.  The result would be catastrophic solar flares!

What Effects Will The Blood Sun Produce?
We know that the Blood Moon does increase paranormal activity, powers, and stokes the fires of rage in various supernatural beings along with providing a power boost to demonic practitioners of magic. However it rarely affects humans due to the low intensity of Moonlight.  In the case of a Blood Sun we’re talking about pure unfiltered focused unholy light.  Vampires, and other creatures who are repelled or even incinerate in normal Sunlight would be able to walk freely during the day with greatly enhanced abilities.  Humans on the other hand would burst into flames vampire style thereby being forced into the shadows of the night!  Exceptionally evil humans may only suffer a bad sun burn while powerful practitioners powerful magics would be able to shield themselves from the violent unholy light. Unfortunately a good number of non-paranormal wildlife would burst into flames as well causing epic extinctions across the Earth!  This would pave the way for supernatural beasts, freed from the Underworld, to populate the planet.  Fortunately a number of reptiles, amphibians, and insects would survive the Blood Sun.  Most non-flowering plants would survive as well with heavy losses in some varieties of deciduous trees.

If this happens there is a one or two minute window to seek shelter. Once you see the sun turn red the dark metaphysical energies will be delayed by Goddess Gaia’s natural life force that permeates the Earth.  Somewhat like trying to push something through molasses.  Keep in mind it won’t be longer than a few minutes before no sun screen can protect you from the searing Blood Sun rays.  Luckily this is a metaphysical energy effect which means the temperature outside will be normal…well until the forces of Hell fully conquer Earth for good!  Let us hope that never happens!
