All scenarios seem to point to everyone and everything becoming dust in the wind. However it is plausible humankind and extraterrestrials will advance technologically to God level status. Either escaping our dying Universe or preventing all natural destruction and living on forever!
Future Astronomical Events
- 5 Billion Years: Our Sun will be a Red Giant. The Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies will have collided and merged as a new Elliptical Galaxy named Milkdromeda.
- 150 Billion Years: The remaining galaxies, gas clouds, and other objects in our Local Group will merge with Milkdromeda. At that point, everything beyond that will have disappeared from view leaving nothing but a dark void due to the expansion of the Universe.
