During the Wolf Moon of January we see Werewolves command non-paranormal wolf packs as they hunt for human prey together! For most of the year, some werewolf packs will befriend common wolves but will rarely take on the role of Alpha. Only a select handful of werewolves do this. The loner types who aren’t pack members. These include strong Sigma and weak Omega werewolves. Omega werewolves usually have to beg to get into a decent pack. Often they are loners whether they like it or not. On the other hand, we have Sigma’s who are independent Alpha’s who have no interest in leading packs. They prefer to be on their own. In both cases becoming Alpha of a common wolf pack is done in their human form as their werewolf persona would actually eat a pack alive! Although, at some point, the wolf pack imprints upon the werewolf so it instinctually leaves them alone during the Full Moon nights. If the werewolf had trained deeply to maintain his human persona in wolf form then all is well.
Why Would A Werewolf Become Alpha Of A Wolf Pack?
A werewolf might seek out a wolf pack to act as Alpha over for various reasons. This can include non-judgmental companionship, protection when they’re in human form, or even various nefarious purposes. In the case of Omega’s, it’s often about feeling better about themselves and building confidence by playing the role of Alpha to beasts below them. Even in human form werewolves are superhuman and should be able to take down a group of wolves. It isn’t easy but it can be done! The weaker wolves will sometimes fall somewhat prey to the mesmerizing quality of a fellow wolf of sorts. Of course, it is nothing on the scale of vampire hypnosis. Generally, beating the Alpha and Beta into submission subdues the rest of the pack and they willingly follow the werewolf as the new Alpha.
The Accidental Alpha
Sometimes becoming the Alpha of a wolf pack happens by accident. The human werewolf is out taking a sweet stroll in the woods when he or she happens upon a pack who mistakes them for a normal human. Naturally, an epic battle ensues until the supremacy of the werewolf is realized! Other times the werewolf smells the fresh kill of a pack and decides to feed their hunger. Indeed, even in human form werewolves crave raw meat. If you ever spot a human playing among wolves or eating an animal carcass with them then get the hell out of there ASAP! You have no way of knowing if the person is a werewolf or simply a deranged individual. If they are a werewolf, they clearly prefer the company of animals and won’t be happy to see you. They could attack you or send the wolf pack your way. You could find yourself as a delicious dinner for the wolf kind!🐺
