We signed up for a Shopify account through ZenDrop to sell dropshipping products after seeing so many Youtube videos saying this was a great way to start a new business…NOT! We even bought a domain name for the store and set up an email at another host to run a professional operation selling electronics and computer-related hardware. Also, a new PayPal account was created. Literally, a day was wasted and we didn’t even get a chance to open the Shopify store live to the world. Shopify sent us the email below saying they terminated our store for mysterious reasons. We have no idea what bug was up their butt? Naturally, the cryptic reasons for various platforms terminating people are the insane way of our automated world. Needless to say, we wouldn’t bother wasting any more time when we have no idea what we did wrong to begin with. Some AI bot probably glitched on something in our store like bitch!
Shopify Idiocy!
Shopify is one of these store platforms that charges a monthly fee while taking a cut of your profit. It’s better to stay with places that merely take a cut and perhaps have listing fees. This big monthly fee is BS when you have no idea if you’re going to make money with it. Unfortunately, ZenDrop is so integrated with Shopify that it messed up that account so we deactivated it. It’s a shame because they had some nice low-cost products to sell at a sweet profit, unlike other places where it’s impossible to make much. Apparently there’s a Clickfunnels site you can sell at but they were too expensive. Also TikTok shops but we have no interest in that. All we know is that Shopify can delete accounts before you even open your store door! Scam? Joke? Who knows? Who cares?🛒
Update: Signed up a second time with both Shopify and Zendrop using different information. So far Shopify has held but Zendrop couldn’t even fulfill a test order and gave no specific reason why. Tried a variety of other drop shippers but prices are too high or the service just doesn’t work right. Clearly, this isn’t the business for everyone! We didn’t even get to the portion where customers complain so it’s for the best!
