What Time Is It At The North Pole?

North Pole Clock

At the exact Geographic North Pole it could be any time within the 24 standard time zones of the Earth.  This is due to all zones converging to a single point at the North Pole.  Santa Claus’s North Pole Village is slightly off that point.  However it’s close enough to fall within 8 time zones which lie between the US Eastern Time Zone, and the Eastern European Time Zone.  These temporal zones are actually reflected by big outdoor red clock posts stating the current time, and name of the time zone along with the most populated city as well.    There’s also an arrow pointing in the direction of the far off city.  These old fashioned clocks have to be constantly hand wound by Timekeeper Elves carrying golden clock keys.  That’s why there’s little ladders built into the back of each clock pole.  Their sole mission is keeping every single clock in North Pole City at the exact time. Even those in Santa’s house at Claus Manor.

Despite the eight time zones there is one time North Pole City goes by called Christmas Time.  The current time is displayed in the clock below, and most of time it coincidentally falls into the Eastern European Time Zone (EET).  Christmas Time actually goes by the mystical Heavenly Star Of Bethlehem that only shines over the skies of North Pole City.  The star moves in an usual figure eight infinity loop path.  The mid intersection point of that figure 8 is exactly overhead the Christmas tree at the center of Santa’s winter wonderland.  It reaches this zenith point at precisely Midnight marking the beginning of a new day, and once again at 12 Noon marking the zenith of the day.  Certainly a helpful measure of time considering that it’s dark for six months, and then light for another six at the North Pole.  Without the Sun to measure time the Christmas Star of Bethlehem gets the job done.  However since the light itself radiates directly from the higher dimensions that compose the afterlife, known as Heaven, it can cause some temporal inconsistencies.

People from all around the world travel to the magical North Pole yet not one suffers jet lag.  Once they get here they immediately adjust to the schedule without any health issues.  People are eating a large meal when they’d normally sleep, and are sleeping when they’d normally be working.  Everyone drops off into a sweet slumber the minute their head hits the pillow no matter what time it is.  It’s simply the magical nature of a zone mystified by a Demi-Archangel such as Santa Claus!
