On October 14, 2024, police in Bay Village, Ohio, received an unusual call about a giant inflatable Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin blocking traffic. When police arrived, the pumpkin was bouncing about the wet roadway with glee. One officer was briefly engulfed within the air-filled monstrosity but walked away unscathed. They were able to eventually wrangle the Halloween decor back to the homeowners property it escaped from.
