Virtually all Vampires can’t practice magic. Not even first-generation pure breed vampires. Ironically, not even dark demonic magic, despite their demon-based DNA.  For most vampires, the only way to wield magical powers is to drink the blood of a witch, warlock, wizard, or sorcerer.
