There have been numerous sightings of the infamous Phantom Tollbooth From Hell on isolated highways and byways apart of the once grand Route 66. Legend has it that a suspected serial killer named Ralph Hanks, a tollbooth attendant was killed by a vigilante. A semi-truck smashed right through Ralph’s tollbooth killing him instantly. A year later the ghostly tollbooth started to appear in the middle of nowhere manned by the hellishly hideous specter of the vengeful Ralph.

If you spot an out-of-place blue tollbooth with or without the flames of hell dancing around it, we advise that you promptly turn your car around and never look back. Just find another route to your destination. It’s not worth the risk of driving into a parallel dimension or even perhaps hell itself!
