Was that fast food hamburger you’re eating, or even your ground beef from the supermarket actually pink slime? The part of the cow found unfit for human consumption until it was bathed in ammonia as apart of a diabolical for profit process. Similar processes occur with other meats as well. You’re best bet is to buy actual cuts of the meat or the whole animal such as in the case of chickens, turkeys, etc. As usual organic is the healthiest course when eating meat. Public pressure had resulted in reduced use of pink slime within the fast food, and beef industry in general. Unfortunately due to an increase in beef prices pink slime is making an unsavory comeback!
