Are Nekomimis Real?<\/h2>\n

Neko’s, or Nekomimis, are best known as fictional Cat Girls from Japanese Anime<\/a>.\u00a0 However, these Demi-Cats, aka Human-Feline Hybrids do actually exist. Interestingly enough, the majority exist in Asia with a high concentration in Japan. In addition, they aren’t only female but can be male as well. Depending on their origins they generally look more human than feline. The most common Neko appears human except for feline ears, eyes (complete with nocturnal glow<\/a>), teeth, tail, and their hair may feel more fur like. The average Neko’s particular feline species is indeterminable, but some can look anywhere from house cat like to Lion like.<\/p>\n

Depending on the species integration they can have varying degrees of enhanced strength, speed, agility, and senses. They have a natural intuition beyond humans. Some even have telepathic and minor shape shifting abilities.\u00a0 Unlike Werecats<\/a> they don’t have the ability to alter their appearance to full human form thereby disguising what they are. Although some can change their eyes from human to feline at will, or when in a heightened emotional state. Those who function in normal society will conceal their true nature under clothing, long hair, hats, contact lenses, glasses, and even prosthesis.<\/p>\n

The Origin Of The Neko<\/h2>\n

The first Neko’s originated from ancient times when witches, and warlocks<\/a> were testing the bounds of their newfound power. They usually required a caged cat to use as the origin species of the spell. This is why most of the time it was smaller domesticated cats rather than large deadly carnivores such as a Tiger. There is also evidence that early advanced civilizations such as Atlantis, and Lemuria tinkered with genetic engineering. The forbidden mixing of animal and human DNA. Atlantis of course saved their civilization from perishing into the high seas by becoming Mermaids<\/a>, aka supernatural human-fish hybrids.<\/p>\n

Government Feline Hybrid Experiments<\/h2>\n

Beginning in the late 20th century top secret private, and government laboratories began secretly creating the first animal-human hybrids including Neko’s.\u00a0 In general, magical origin cat people are more powerful than laboratory science created ones.\u00a0\u00a0 Procreation is hit, and miss between Neko’s, and never occurs with full humans.\u00a0 This keeps the Neko populace at a minimum.\u00a0 In the future it’s predicted that animal hybrids will become more mainstream, and common.\u00a0 Especially as extraterrestrials from various planets enter our society.\u00a0 Just as aliens would appear animal hybrid like to us so do we appear as ape hybrids to them.<\/p>\n

Do Neko’s Have Nine Lives?<\/h1>\n

The lifespan of science created, and some magical origin Neko’s is usually about 150 years. Although imperfect science creations might only live a few years.\u00a0 The average cat lifespan of 12-15 years<\/a> usually doesn’t factor into the equation. Many of the early magical cursed<\/a> feline people were given the quintessential nine lives. The “Nine Lives Curse” is an immortality curse that means they can die by any means except the aging process.\u00a0 If they use up 9 deaths, then they’re permanently dead. Legend has it that the ninth death would in fact simply turn them into an immortal cat forced to roam the Earth as an animal forever! We also know that a great many magically cursed Neko’s are damned to only eat mice, rats, and other unsavory vermin.\u00a0 The lucky ones can subsist off of fish.<\/p>\n

The Japanese Neko Community<\/h2>\n

Japan has the highest concentration of Neko’s which spawned the Neko Anime<\/a> trend. It’s the usual supernatural truth leaked into a supposedly fictional form. A group of motivated Neko’s created several safe havens for their own kind in cooperation with a secret faction of the government. A faction facilitated by the line of Japanese Emperors<\/a> who directly dealt with human-cat hybrids. Even a handful of royals were thought to be Neko’s. There Neko’s have a support network to function in mainstream human society holding lucrative jobs and having real social lives.<\/p>\n
