In 2024, there’s been some confusion about whether Halloween Weekend, aka Halloweekend<\/em>, is officially before or after October 31st. This was especially so since Halloween falls on a Thursday, thus creating a potential bridge to a four-day weekend Samhain celebration. The timing issues arise from not only Halloween falling close to a given Weekend but also the fact that many communities have Trick-Or-Treating on the Saturday before All Hallows Eve. Moving the festivities of a weekday holiday to the weekend takes advantage of people being off from work and school. <\/p>\n The ultimate answer to this question is that every weekend during the Halloween Season<\/a> is in holiday play, especially within October. Despite the Christmas Season<\/a> starting on November 3rd, we still celebrate the Samhain Season until Thanksgiving Day<\/a>. Halloween and Christmas mystically meld together creating a beautiful balance between the two seasons. November 1st is Hallowmas<\/a> and November 2nd is Day Of The Dead<\/a>. The Spirit Of Halloween<\/a> is still strong and grants the Weekend closest to Halloween with the most paranormal power on a planetary scale. However, locally, where Halloween festivities are in major play, the Weekend before may have more supernatural sway.
