The Vermont Country Store<\/a> is now offering up to 60% off on various old-fashioned nostalgic gifts, and stocking stuffers.\u00a0 Many items are under $20 including chocolates, and other unique treats you may not have heard of.\u00a0 Some of which are imported from Europe, and don’t cost that much.\u00a0 They even offer guaranteed Christmas delivery by December 23rd when you order as late as December 22.\u00a0 You’ll still pay the standard shipping rate, and they’ll foot the bill for the increased rush shipping.\u00a0 There’s no minimum order amount.\u00a0 However, it must be items they have in stock rather than something that might be shipped from another supplier.\u00a0 Simply enter the code “HOLIDAY” when you check out at http:\/\/www.vermontcountrystore.com\/store\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The above was my original recommendation.\u00a0 The first shipment I got from them was packed properly in a large box, and the items were in pristine shape.\u00a0 The second shipment I ordered was crammed into a box that was too small for the item received.\u00a0 The boxes of\u00a0Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes<\/a> was damaged, and the\u00a0Champagne-Filled Chocolates<\/a> were burst with sticky liquid all over the place.\u00a0 Order from them at your own risk.\u00a0 Especially if you order your gifts last minute.<\/p>\n

In addition they’re sneaky about not telling you how big things are, and the photos on their site are deceptive.\u00a0 They refuse to give the dimensions of products, and merely list size in ounces which is meaningless.\u00a0 Their\u00a0Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes<\/a>\u00a0were tiny little bite size things, and their\u00a0Kalter Hund German Chocolate Biscuit Cake<\/a> was merely a huge candy bar.\u00a0 The\u00a0Champagne-Filled Chocolates<\/a> were bite size as well.\u00a0 After complaining about the shipment above via online form they never bothered to get back to me.\u00a0 The food all tasted good but ultimately their service was unsatisfactory, and their stuff is way too expensive for the amount you get.\u00a0 Although the price reduction around Christmas made up for that.\u00a0 Currently all the items mentioned above are out of stock.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
