The Enchantment Lane Neighborhood Government<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the Woodland Springs Town Charter individual neighborhoods, usually all the homes or businesses on one particular street or portion of a large\u00a0roadway<\/span>, can\u00a0petition<\/span>\u00a0to form their own sub-government.\u00a0 The Enchantment Lane Neighborhood is such a sub-government made up of 12 large homes that reside on approximately 2 acres of land each.\u00a0 6 on each side of Enchantment Lane which lies within a thin line of The Enchanted Woodland that lies along the shores of\u00a0Luminary Lake<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 The Neighborhood President generally provides for governmental facilities.\u00a0 Current President Xavier\u00a0Remington<\/span>\u00a0has the neighborhood headquarters in his basement at\u00a0Remington Manor<\/a>\u00a0which has a separate outside entrance.\u00a0 Each household is a member of the neighborhood counsel and gets one vote.\u00a0 President\u00a0Remington\u00a0appoints the Neighborhood Security Captain who\u00a0patrols<\/span>\u00a0the neighborhood and he also acts as the judge on a three person\u00a0arbitration<\/span>\u00a0panel when there’s a dispute.\u00a0 The Security Captain and any deputies he hires have real police powers within the Enchantment Neighborhood and can carry a firearm and make arrests.\u00a0 If someone is arrested they are held until Woodland Springs Police, or the\u00a0Comanche County Sheriff<\/a>\u00a0take them into custody.<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition<\/span>\u00a0to the Xavier\u00a0Remington\u00a0& Rebecca Abernathy Residence there is the\u00a0Tiffany Sanders<\/a>\u00a0Residence next door to the\u00a0north<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
